I took this photograph yesterday. This is, in actuality, not a wall: It is an assemblage, created from stacked bricks. By definition, an assemblage is an artistic process in which a three-dimensional artistic composition is made from putting together found objects. I did not create this. I simply encountered it. I was drawn by the varied colors and textures and the contrast of light and shadow. I find this image at once relaxing and enthralling.
